Birdville Baptist has an active, vibrant senior adult ministry that extends from the church building proper to far beyond its walls. Here are some of the worship opportunities available to senior adults:
Our Just Older Youth (J.O.Y.) ministry meets at 11 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month to enjoy fellowship and an inspirational program. Additionally, J.O.Y. members can participate in a pair of week-long “road trips” each year that take J.O.Y. travelers to scenic spots around the region and country. The cost is kept as low as possible, with our own committee making arrangements and plans. Everyone is invited, but seats fill up quickly.
PrimeTime is a regular Thursday morning get-together that focuses on games and crafts. Here senior adults also can eat, sing, and hear a devotional, as well as get their blood pressure and heart rates checked.
We have two homebound ministries. Through our CD ministry, an audio recording of the Sunday morning worship service and Sunday School lesson is delivered to church members who are not physically able to attend on Sunday. We also hold worship services in four area convalescent homes: Haltom Convalescent, Richland Nursing, Manor Care.

Feb 28th – Christian Arts Museum
Look forward to visiting the Christian Arts Museum in Fort Worth which houses the life size wax display of the Last Supper. There is no admission charge. Depart the church @ 10:00 A.M., tour takes place at 11:00 A.M. and then we will eat at “Our Place” on Basswood and Beach. We will be back at church about 2:00 P.M.
